Florida 10
We succeeded in setting the World's Largest Poker Run record this weekend. The final tally was 2090 motorcycles and an estimated 5000 people. Matt Nichols did an incredible job getting this all together and has put us in the record books. This is Matt of FL 10 getting the certificate from Guinness saying we have the world record for the largest poker run.
Members of Georgia Chapters 13 and 16 joined together to ride in a poker run to benefit Tommy Hauesler, a firefighter with Crisp County Fire Rescue, who was severely injured in an apparatus accident with a tractor trailer. Approximately 125 riders took part in the poker run and raised around $5,000 to help with his medical expenses.

Red Knights PA 12 at Gettysburg
Members of Red Knights Maryland 1 participated in the 10th Annual Red Helmets Ride to the National Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Emmetsburg, MD on Oct 4th, 2008. It was a great day for riding, NO RAIN for once. Close to 600 motorcycles were Police escorted from Frederick to the Memorial at the National Fire Academy. As we rode on Campus under a large American Flag, we were greeted by the families and friends of the fallen firefighters. A wreath laying at the base of the Memorial concluded the Ride.
Riders from all over the Country came to pay tribute to these Heroes and to show support to the families.

This past Saturday, July 21, 2008 the 119th Annual Hudson Valley Volunteer Fireman’s Parade was held in Ellenville, NY. Once again, The Red Knights were asked to perform escort duty for each of the 6 Divisions, and with a terrific effort, members from both Chapters 37 and 33 answered the call and provided the service. This photo was taken in the Kerhonkson Fire Department’s parking lot, during the pre-parade staging.
