Red Knights International

Annual Convention

Hello fellow Red knights, I would like to invite all of you to come visit us at the

Red Knights International Convention August 16-19 2012 in Historic  Gettysburg, Pa.

The area is loaded with so many things to do, with history from the civil war era, museums, a brand new visitor center with a new cyclorama a must see.  We will be having motorcycle guided tours of the battlefield with a licensed battlefield guide, who himself has family ties to the battlefield. These will be 3 hour tours we will have multiple times set up on Thursday and Friday and the cost will be $5 per person. The town of Gettysburg is loaded with shops, museums and historic buildings for you to visit.  Just to the north is Harrisburg,Pa. home to the National civil war museum, and the Pa. National Fire museum.

The area surrounding Gettysburg is full of nice roads to ride, you are in apple country and can ride up thru the orchards and a national forest.  We will have self guided tours set up to help you find some of the nicest roads around.  We will also have a Red Knight exclusive tour of the Harley plant in York,Pa. available to the first 144 people who sign up.  A highlight of the weekend will be a trip to the National Fallen Firefighter memorial in Emmittsburg,M

d. We will be having a ceremony there at the memorial and a dinner at the academy to follow, cost of dinner will be $10 per person. We are still working on a few surprises for you, you will have to come to see what they are.  We have reserved section 30 at the fire academy in the walk of honor if you or your chapter want  to buy a brick it will be placed by the time we arrive. Cost of the brick is $100 and the form to order this will be posted along with the registration form in the very near future, if you want  a brick yourself or your chapter wants one make sure you have your order in by FEBURARY 29 2012, after that date there is no promise that your brick will be placed for you to see when you get there.  So make plans now to come to Gettysburg and the International convention in 2012.
