REGION THREE REPORT for the 2012 Convention

I would like to thank you for attending the 2012 convention.
There has been much planning from PA12 and your International Board for a successful convention but only your attendance and participation will make it fun for all.
I have been in constant contact in resolving an issue in KY and have kept the Board abreast of developments. This is an ongoing issue.
The first Region 3 conference happened in May and we had several chapters and MALs represented. I hope this is the first for future conferences for Region 3.
Several issues have come before the Board and have been dealt with in a timely manner.
I am in constant communication with Region 3 chapters and MALs and ask for your input on making this a better organization that serves you. Your input is sorely needed.
I have attended the scheduled Board meetings and they are very productive. Again, I ask for your input for subject matter to take to these Board meetings to present.
More communication has started with MALs in Region 3.  This was an area lacking but I hope we can improve on the communication with our MALs.
I average around 1-2 hours a day on the computer and phone calls. Feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns. I will return your calls and emails as quickly as possible.
One important issue that I need your help with is member retention. We are losing several chapters, this year, and need your input as to the reasons for losing members and how to retain members. This is your club and you are the ones in the know on how things should be done. Please let me know any ideas you might have.
I hope you all have wonderful time at the convention and look me up.
I think every member of Region 3 has important input on how our organization conducts business and only your input can make things happen.

Hello... Just to bring all of you up-to-date on current affairs.. At the 2011 convention a major change is coming for the election of International Board positions. All voting will be done electronically and by email , so it is imperative that each chapter check their yahoo emails periodically. This will be where you will receive your ballots, next year, and submit your votes.  Regional Directors will be voted on by their Region also.

Please go to the bylaws update and review them for new and additional bylaws.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

The 2012 convention will be in Gettysburg, PA and I think this will be one convention you will not want to miss.  Brian Sames and PA 12 have quite a itinerary planned and you will be kept busy with the numerous rides and tours .

I want to bring it to your attention that a Regional meeting is in the works for next spring and a location in Northern Ohio is being looked at for the meeting and get together.  I will keep in contact with all of you as things develop and if you would like to offer any assistance please contact me.

As the riding season is coming to a close, I hope you all had a great riding season and we all look forward to next spring.  Since we all are in the northern snow region, next spring can't come quick enough.

I want to thank everyone for their support in my election to Region 3 Director and to remind you that I am here for you and will try to answer any and all questions and address all situations in a very timely manner.
