Hello to all the MAL’s

I have already sent out membership renewal email to all MAL’s. I will be sending out a second round email the week of 12/11/11. if you are not receiving my emails, we do not have a valid email address for you. Please call, text or email me with your correct information.

            I hope this note finds you well and ready to celebrate the Holidays and your religion.

            This has been a Very Busy Year for the Red Knights. We had a lot of fun at all the events, but to mention a few, the International Convention was a great success, followed by the Gathering Of The Knights Tournament in Gettysburg, PA. As mentioned before the receipt and escort of the Steel from the north Trade Center Tower was very emotional for all involved. The architects are working hard on a few different concepts. We still plan on a spring unveiling of the fitting memorial in Boylston. A big thank you from the Board and myself, to all the MAL’s that came out this year to these and other events.

            I have been working on keeping the location maps updated and hopefully you all have had a chance to check them out. They are a great way to make contact with Chapters and other MAL’s around you. If you didn’t notice, all the chapters have new email address’ they are now using the same @redknightsmc.com system around the world.

            I would like to take this opportunity to invite each of you to save the date for the DIXIE rally in the spring. For those that are not familiar with the DIXIE, it is the largest Red Knight rally outside of the convention. This year my chapter is hosting the rally in Prince Frederick, MD. Attached you should find a copy of the ad for the event. You can register now at www.rkmcdixie.com if you are planning on coming, please book your hotel room ASAP, we have 30 rooms blocked now and we are trying to convince the hotel to block all the rooms for us, in order to do this we need to have the 30 rooms booked by February 1^st. you can book by calling 410.535.6800, just tell them you are a Red Knight and it is $89/night.

            The new and improved website is up and running, if you haven’t checked it out yet, please do so. www.redknightsmc.com , hopefully it is easier to navigate and to find the info you are looking for. Also if you are interested in the RK forums, take a minute to register for them as well. There always is something new going on in there as well. Don’t forget the newsletters are available for download as well.

            Now for the last bit of business, yes, it’s that time of year again. The time I have to ask for each of you to renew your Membership dues for 2012. Most of you will have the regular dues of $15 for an Active member and $10 for a Social Member. Please go to this link, http://www.redknightsmc.org/maldues.py Put in your name and state, then click ‘add to cart’, if you are also paying for a social member, click ‘continue shopping’ and do the same for the Social Member, then check out.  If you have a credit on your account, I will let you know what is needed on this email. (You may have joined with a partial year) I will be sending out next year’s membership cards in late December and January for those who have paid.

As of today, we have 470+ MALs on the roster. In the last 2½ weeks we have only received 80+ renewals. Please get your renewal in.
