Event Details:
Over the past year, N.S. Chapter VI held 3 BBQ's through our local Sobey's Stores, 50/50 draws during both our Meeting Nights and during our Bike Night (Meet and Greet) held every Monday night this summer. During the Meet and Greet we also held a BBQ and 50/50 draw. If a Member of our Club won, the proceeds were turned back in again. Sobey's came on as a corporate partner last summer and donated $2,300.00 plus our Club put in $700.00 for a total of $3,000.00. This summer we exceeded that donation and made a $4,000.00 donation to Camp Connect on Tuesday, Aug.13, 2019. The Camp is held in Pictou County, N.S. each summer and brings burn survivors together for a week long camp. We will continue to support this very worthwhile cause in the coming years. In it Left to Right are Dee Stewart, Chairman of the NSFFBTS Dave Collier, N.S. Chapter VI President Mike O'Sullivan, on behalf of the Club, and Stephen Stewart. The Stewart's have been involved with the Camp for over 20 years and help to organize a Poker Run as a fund raiser as well.
