Funeral Information: Date of Death: December 9, 2025 Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, Montague, PE, 902-838-2557 Thomas Underhill McCabe 1969 - 2025 Burial Information Burial Location St. Bridget's Parish Cemetery, Renous, NB ( Spring Time ) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Thomas Underhill McCabe of Morell PE, formally of Renous NB, loving son, brother, father, Pop, and dear friend. Thomas peacefully left us on December 9 th 2025 at the age of 56 surrounded by his loved ones at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Tom is survived by his mother, Shirley (Underhill) McCabe, sister Tammy (Wayne) Manderville, daughters Caitlin (Justin) Moran, Emily McCabe, Lauren McCabe, nephew Graham (Alisha) Manderville, niece Sarah (Zach) Manderville, and granddaughter Taryn who was the centre of his world. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Paul McCabe. Tom took great pride in his role as an educator, mentor and coach. He had a lasting impact on many students over his 34-year career. Whether it was in the grocery store or through email, it was not uncommon for past students to reach out and express their gratitude for the impact he had on their lives. He served as a volunteer firefighter and was a proud member of the Red Knights MC Miramichi. In keeping with Tom's wishes, a graveside service will be held at St. Bridget's Catholic Cemetery in Renous NB in the spring. In honour of Tom, donations may be made to a local charity of one's choice. Ferguson Logan Funeral Home, entrusted with the arrangements.
